Developers HoyoVerse have teamed up with Discovery to raise awareness about several fragile natural habitats as part of the Tevyat Nature Discovery Tour initiative. An online event called “Discover Archaeology, Explore Nature” and a short documentary will be released as part of this collaboration.
The short documentary, voiced by Kit Harington, Lily Cole, Max Genohan, Kate Humble, and Ed Stafford, is eight and a half minutes long. As part of this, the video educates the viewer on the importance of preserving the world’s various biospheres.
The “Discover Archeology, Explore Nature” web event is scheduled to start on March 16y. It allows Genshin players to earn more elemental gems and the event-exclusive Serenitea Pot furniture, “Let the Desert Bloom.”
However, this reward is only available after completing some tutorial challenges. Genshin players will be excited to know that the event will feature five characters – Beidou, Kokomi, Albedi, Tighnari, and Candace.
The main task for players is to find as many habitats as possible in the in-game world of Tevyat while being taught by drawing parallels between the in-game habitats and the natural world.
A climate event should not be limited to the online world. As a result, Hoyoverse and Discovery are planning five offline interest sales in Germany, France, Italy, Korea and the UK between March 15y And April 13ydepending on the site.
All proceeds will be donated to Cool Earth – a British non-profit organization dedicated to rainforest conservation. Players will get a chance to purchase Genshin Impact merchandise from the mentioned kiosks.
Genshin Impact is no stranger to collaboration. However, this is the first time they have collaborated for the greater good, a move that should set a precedent in gaming.
