It’s possible to skip the Last Epoch campaign, but it’s not as easy as pressing a button, as it is with Diablo 4. Whether you want to try out multiple characters, learn new skills, or level up quickly, skipping the campaign will pay off.
Before you start, you need to familiarize yourself with the prerequisites and items required to pass the campaign for Last Epoch. Although this may be a daunting task, it is worth the effort.
1. How to skip the campaign in Last Epoch?
Soulfire Bastion Dungeon Key
To skip the Last Epoch campaign, players need to complete the campaign once and obtain the dungeon keys for the Lightless Arbor, Soulfire Bastion, and Temporal Sanctum. It can be obtained by completing Monoliths of Fate, with level requirements of 22, 45 and 55.
Once you have all the required dungeon keys, start the journey with your new character to go through the campaign.
2. Access the Monolith System by reaching the End of Time
The End of Time Monolith can be accessed at approximately level 15. Start making echoes and leveling up in the first block if you have the required leveling items.
Alternatively, you can reach level 55 and start doing dungeons and switching back and forth between them and blocks. For now, move on to the next step which is finding the Lightless Arbor Dungeon.
3. Access the Imperial Age through the Lightless Arbor Dungeon
Arbor’s lightless cell
Head to the Lightless Arbor Dungeon once you pass level 22. It’s an unforgiving dungeon, so prioritize your defenses to clear this dungeon. Complete the initial campaign stages until you reach the Council of Chambers of the Ruinous Age. From there, head to the roof.
Keep heading north into the covered area to find the Lightless Arbor. Clear this dungeon to reach the Imperial Age via the Corrupt Lake.
4. Head to Soulfire Fortress to enter the Divine Era
Soulfire’s stronghold
Once you reach the Imperial Age, head to The Risen Lake and then northeast to The Felled Wood to find the Soulfire Bastion. Completing this dungeon will take you to the Divine Age.
5. Enter the Temporal Sanctuary through a temporal rift
Temporal sanctuary
In the Divine Age, head to Maj’Elka and search for a time rift from there in The Shining Cove. This leads to the Ruined Coast and the entrance to the Temporal Sanctuary. By beating this dungeon, you can access The Radiant Dunes in the Divine Era, moving on to Chapter Nine.
This skips most of the campaign, and all quests are unlocked there, which will help you unlock all the additional Idol slots and passives without replaying the entire campaign.
6. How long does it take to beat Last Epoch?
The Last Epoch campaign takes 15-17 hours to beat without side quests and 33-35 hours to complete 100%. The game spans nine chapters, divided into three eras: the Divine Age, the Ruinous Age, and the Imperial Age.
This is just a rough estimate, as it may take longer to beat players on higher difficulty levels. The amount of time spent on puzzles, dungeons, and quests can vary from player to player, and playtime varies.
