Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty turned out to be a good decision. The expansion has been well received by fans around the world. Once again, attention is drawn to the details with which the game was created as players discover a new surprise every day.
X user @crushovitz_b revealed a Cyberpunk 2077 easter egg located in the main menu section. In the upper right corner, you can sometimes spot the number 2.0.77 which is a reference to the game’s title.
Producer Monika Janowska at CD Projekt Red commented: “Finally! So happy to have found it!” Another CDPR employee, assistant game warden Paul Sasko, said, “I’m beginning to doubt you’ll ever find it! It was so well hidden.”
Although it has not been revealed when this Easter egg will be added to Cyberpunk 2077, it is possible that it will be part of the base game. The current game version is Patch 2.12 but it looks like the Easter egg will be a part of Cyberpunk 2077 moving forward.
A Cyberpunk 2077 sequel is in development but it could be years before it’s released. Meanwhile, as confirmed by the game director, smaller patch updates will be released soon. However, it would be wise not to expect other DLC anytime soon.
