In a fierce battle with Hantengu, Tanjiro emerges victorious by cutting off his head and saving the lives of all the villagers. However, victory comes at a great cost, as Nezuko is exposed to the sun’s rays and is seemingly killed. But to everyone’s surprise, Nezuko manages to conquer the sun, becoming the first demon to do so.
Now, Muzan is after her and could ambush them at any moment. The Demon Slayer team realizes that they must become stronger to fight the demons. Thus, they embark on the “Hashira Training Arc”, where they can hone their skills and prepare for the upcoming battle.

Nezuko is the first to appear in the show. She stands by the window, staring at the sun, looking worried. The Hashira gather and have a meeting, where Geomi, the stone Hashira, brings up the idea of training pillars.
The trailer also gives a glimpse into the training sessions that Hashira, as well as Tanjiro and Inosuke, are participating in. However, Zenitsu is nowhere to be seen. The opening track “Mugen” (Dreams) for MY FIRST STORY x HYDE was also revealed in the trailer.
